SISU SAUNAS Manifesto
We believe a sauna is more than heat and wood. It’s a tradition, a rhythm, and a way of life passed down through generations. In Finland, the country with the highest saunas per capita, this ritual has stood the test of time, shaping community, health, and renewal. At SISU Saunas Inc, we honour that legacy and carry it forward. Our saunas are built in Canada by Finns.
We choose Harvia stoves because they are born of the same soil as the tradition itself, engineered in Finland to create the perfect löyly: the wave of heat and steam that makes a sauna truly alive.
We line our walls with Canadian spruce and our benches and back rests with cedar, not just for its strength and resilience, but for their warmth, aroma, and quiet beauty. Cedar makes a sauna feel like a sanctuary, a place apart.
Scientific studies continue to highlight sauna use as one of the most effective forms of passive therapy for heart health and longevity.
We are SISU SAUNAS INC We build saunas that endure storms, silence distractions, and carry the wisdom of a culture that has always known: the sauna is not luxury. It is necessity.
