At Salo Sauna Inc., each sauna is thoughtfully designed and built with care. Because our products are custom-made and involve specialized materials and electrical components, our refund policy reflects the nature of our work.
Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Custom & Made-to-Order Products
All Salo Sauna products are made to order. Once production has begun, we are unable to offer refunds.
For this reason:

All sales are final once manufacturing has started

We do not accept returns on completed sauna units
If you have questions about specifications, sizing, power requirements, or installation, we strongly encourage you to contact us before placing your order.
2. Order Cancellations
You may request to cancel your order within 48 hours of purchase, provided that fabrication has not yet begun.

Cancellations requested within this window may be eligible for a refund, minus any non-recoverable costs (such as design time, materials already ordered, payment processing fees, or custom drawings).

After 48 hours, or once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.

3. Damaged or Defective Items
If your sauna arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect:

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery

Please include clear photos and a written description of the issue
Upon review, Salo Sauna Inc. may, at its discretion:

Repair the affected component

Replace the defective part

Provide a partial refund related specifically to the affected component
We do not offer full refunds for cosmetic variations inherent to natural wood (including grain, knots, colour variation, or minor checking).
4. Shipping & Delivery Issues

Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable

Delays caused by carriers, weather, site access, or customer availability are not grounds for a refund

Customers are responsible for ensuring proper site access and readiness at the time of delivery
5. Installation & Use

Refunds will not be issued for issues resulting from:

Improper installation

Use outside of intended residential or approved environments

Modifications made after delivery

Failure to follow provided instructions or local electrical/building codes

Electrical connections must be performed by a qualified professional, where required.
6. Liability & Limitation

By purchasing a Salo Sauna product, the customer acknowledges that sauna use involves exposure to heat and steam and agrees to use the product responsibly.

Salo Sauna Inc. is not responsible for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow safety guidelines.
