The Salo One sauna is a compact, one-person Finnish sauna designed for small spaces. It’s made by Finnish Canadians with deep respect for sauna culture. It’s designed to be simple to own: minimal disruption, no big renovation, and fast assembly (around an hour).

We use Harvia electric heaters—a trusted Finnish brand for over 75 years. For safety and code compliance, heaters are installed by licensed electricians.

Yes. The Salo One sauna is designed to be straightforward to set up. If you already have the appropriate electrical receptacle, installation can be quick. If not, we can coordinate with an electrician to get the receptacle installed and ready.

Yes. We offer delivery and installation (white glove service) so your Salo One Sauna is set up correctly and safely. We’ll coordinate timing and any electrical requirements in advance so the experience feels easy from start to finish.

Yes. You can add Bluetooth LED lighting to create different colour scenes. Lighting is designed to be plug-and-play. An optional Wi-Fi control unit can also be added so you can have the sauna hot when you get home.

We use high-quality kiln-dried Canadian cedar, chosen for durability, comfort, and that authentic sauna feel and aroma.

Yes. A one-person sauna is naturally efficient compared to larger rooms, and the Salo Sauna is designed to heat effectively without wasting energy—especially for small-space and condo-friendly use cases.

Generally, no. Cedar is commonly used in sauna construction and handles humidity well. Salo saunas are designed with ventilation in mind to help manage moisture, and basic care (good airflow + simple wipe-downs) keeps things in great shape.

It’s simple: wipe down benches and surfaces with a damp cloth as needed, mop the drip tray, keep the door slightly open after use to keep airflow moving, and follow the included care guidance. With good ventilation and regular light cleaning, upkeep is minimal.
